VADER is a Vertical Array Diode Energy Radiator powered device that is designed for laser Hair Reduction (LHR), Vascular closure of dilated capillaries (LVR), collagen synthesis (CS), and some pigment reduction (LPR).  It was not designed, or intended, for pigment reduction, yet works. We do not market or sell this machine as a pigment/vascular laser, it is just an added benefit of having VADER.

Typical LHR is defined as effective to reduce the hair volume of clients with black hair and white skin by 20% per treatment. VADER reduces hair volumes by 40-50% per treatment using significantly lower energy than current traditional equipment.  We have effectively treated black, light and dark brown and dark blonde hair on all skin tones with similar results. Traditional lasers fire 1-1.5 times per second.  VADER fires up to 10 times per second.  Treatment times are reduced by 50-70% allowing for more treatments per clinic per day.  There are many specific technical improvements that explain these efficiency gains.  They will be outlined in the VADER User’s Manual.

Photocoagulation using Infrared energy is not new.  VADER is just better at it.  The same is true for collagen synthesis.  The energy delivered by a VADER is evenly distributed across the output optic.  This alone is 47% more efficient than a common laser used for these purposes.  VADER is faster and more efficient than available lasers.
