Gary Begley is the visionary behind Aesthetic ProTools, whose career in the beauty industry began with a background in mechanical and photonic engineering. Gary is a licensed Aesthetician, Supervising Laser Technician (SLT) and Laser Safety Officer (LSO) and holds a BSE in Mechanical Engineering. He trained at 21 industry laser schools around the world over his career. In 1984, he acquired his first cosmetic laser, which sparked his commitment to advancing equipment design and functionality. Gary developed the VADER, Artisan and other equipment systems that are innovative cosmetic lasers.
In 2000 he founded Phoenix Photonix, Inc., dba IMAJ Institute. IMAj Institute, is setting a foundation for excellence in esthetic education and innovation.
In 2010, Mr. Begley was appointed Chairman of the Barbering and Cosmetology Board of Arizona, a role he has held for 15 years, with three more years anticipated. His tenure as chair has deepened his dedication to designing and developing state-of-the-art esthetic devices, continually striving to enhance the learning experience for students and elevate the standards for fellow estheticians.

Mrs. McBryde is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She obtained her doctorate degree from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. During her graduate school training, she did her clinical research fellowship at Mayo Clinic. As a highly trained healthcare provider, she has extensive experience in cardiology, dermatology, sexual health, men’s health and aesthetic services. Additionally, she serves as the medical director for two of the top laser aesthetic institutes in Scottsdale and multiple med-spas and wellness centers across Arizona.
Mrs. McBryde is also passionate about sharing her knowledge, she has trained many nurses, dentists and physicians on cosmetic injections.
Besides practicing traditional medicine, Ran found a way to help others achieve their goals by providing quality aesthetic treatments. Along with her husband and co-owner, Mike, they founded Vanishing Ink Med-Spa & Wellness. The team is committed to ensuring clients’ confidentiality and proper treatments.
Terri serves as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Aesthetic ProTools, where she leads initiatives to increase revenue, expand market presence, and elevate brand credibility within the aesthetic laser industry. She coordinates participation in key industry events to enhance the company’s visibility in the esthetic sector. Terri is responsible for identifying emerging market trends, cultivating strategic partnerships, and implementing effective marketing strategies that reinforce Aesthetic ProTools’ competitive position. Her role provides ongoing opportunities for professional growth and fosters a collaborative working environment. Outside the workplace, Terri enjoys traveling, creating in the kitchen, and quality time with her family.
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Grand Canyon University, Jose joined the APT team. Beginning his career as a service technician, he developed a robust, hands-on understanding of the organization’s technology. Through experience troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing advanced aesthetic devices, he has acquired expertise in proper procedures and technical problem-solving. He is developing a proprietary APT Service Technician certification system, to be called “APT Photon Mechanics.”
Building on this foundation, Jose’s current focus is on identifying innovative opportunities to continuously improve and enhance the company’s devices with new features. Driven by curiosity and a passion for progress, he regularly explores emerging medical technologies outside of work, seeking inspiration for future advancements and improvements.
Brody is Aesthetic ProTools Project Manager specializing in AI integration, currently a candidate for a Master of Science in Finance and holding a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He brings several years of hands-on experience training, refining, and deploying AI models to streamline operations, improve decision-making, and enhance customer experience. His work blends technical expertise with a strong financial and analytical foundation, allowing him to bridge complex AI systems with real business needs and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.
Originally from Mexico, Danny has primarily resided in Phoenix, Arizona, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Grand Canyon University. As a member of the Aesthetic Pro Tools team, he is dedicated to delivering high-quality equipment and developing solutions driven by customer insights. He specializes in troubleshooting, repairing, and preparing products for redistribution when issues arise. He is committed to continuous improvement, enhancing product durability, and maintaining rigorous quality standards.
Alison serves as the Finance & Executive Assistant at Aesthetic ProTools, where she oversees the company’s billing operations, sales tax compliance, and financial documentation. Alison coordinates all sales invoicing, and accounting processes. In addition to her financial responsibilities, she provides direct executive support to the CEO, assisting with operational planning, customer coordination, and cross-departmental projects.
Amidst working at Aesthetic ProTools, Alison is also a full-time student at Brigham Young University studying Psychology, and minoring in Business. She is beginning her Junior year and plans to receive a Masters in Clinical Psychology.
